Research Assistant para Laboratorio de Biología de Desarrollo

General Purpose:

• – Generates and maintains lines of zebrafish mutants and transgenic lines; screens and genotypes zebrafish using PCR.
• – Conducts experiments and in zebrafish transgenic and mutant lines.
• – Analyzes gene expression in specific cell types using by using situ hybridization, FACS sorting and RNA-Seq, real time PCR, confocal microscopy.
• – Perform gene-editing (Gateway, CRISPRs) and microinjections.
• – Orders and maintains inventory of supplies.
• – May assist research and support staff.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a biological related field.
