The Research Program for Experimental Ophthalmology and Glaucoma (PMU/SALK, Salzburg, Austria) is seeking a motivated Full Time Postdoctoral Research Associate to strengthen their team.

The research focus areas are:
- Retinal pericyte function in healthy and pathological altered tissue (glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy).
- Development of neuroprotective strategies in retinal disease models in vitro (age-related macular degeneration) and in vivo (glaucoma).
- Ocular blood flow and intraocular pressure modulation (physiology and pharmacology) (glaucoma, neurodegenerative diseases).
Qualifications
PhD in molecular, cellular biology or related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in molecular biology and immunohistochemistry.
- Experience with in-vivo experiments.
- Post-Doc experience, mentoring of master and PhD students.
- Publication record.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
